Kate O'Connell is a professional photographer and painter originally from the bay area, who has lived in Chico, Ca. since 2007. She is married to a wonderful man and has two beautiful children and two furry corgis. She attended the Academy of Art San Francisco as a photography major but always had a love for painting. She started painting around 2010 as a small hobby making art only for friends. Since then her art has evolved and is inspired by feminism and the ever changing landscape of how women are portrayed in the media.
